 wasnt in class due to junior meeting

 Today in class we started working on an essay as a class using multiple sources and making a claim. Class was pretty short since multiple left so we had a lot of time to ourself

 We took a quiz on chapter 5 of wild. We then discussed the questions after reviewing the chapter along with it

 Today in class we went over the expectations of an ap exam question. We learned how to skim and only use 3 of sources which mattered the most to us. We also learned how to quickly answer our prompt and how to get evidence from different sources including charts and calendars 

checked out early

 Mr Rease wasnt able to be here today so we did bookworm in another class

 Today we got put on lockdown so that took some time from our class. Today in class we used a worksheet to analyze the book and found multiple themes and causes and effects. The worksheet was very good since it set up the steps and all we had to do was comprehend

 today we read some of the book wild. Wild is a really interesting book to me as well since its real life and its not a difficult book to comprehend. I might actually buy the book on my own since on how much I like it

 Today in class we made and answered critical questions from the book wild. We also discussed about changing and rewriting our past if we had a chance. The book wild is a book i can truly read in my off time since its filled with raw emotions

 I would like to change my incident in sixth grade, which put me on probation. If I could change that I would not have been trying to impress someone with drugs and would have just been myself. Even though my life is better now it still affected me while I was younger and made me feel like I was a criminal

 Today in class we went over the aspects of how being in isolation can have positives and negatives. We discussed some more of the book wild. Were getting into parts of whats leading her to take the initiative and go on a hike. We also found out how her mother passed away and how it started to change her life. Class got cut short 20 minutes early due to weather

 Pros: being alone gives you more time to know yourself, clear headspace, limits distractions Cons: lose a sense of people, feel isolated, dependent on your own emotions Being alone can be empowering to you because you can learn more about yourself. What I mean by this is drowning in your thoughts and listening to yourself. Also being alone you can clear your head of any stress and with you being by yourself you wont have any distractions to stop you

 Today in class we discussed one of our rhetorical appeals. We also went over the first paragraph of Wild. We also learned about how one hiker died in Alaska who thought he could conquer the impossible. I really like the book so far and look forward to finish reading it

 Today in class we read the prologue of wild. It gave us a view of what to expect in the upcoming rest of the story. The class was cut short due to our junior meetings being held at 2:30.

 When I got put on probation i felt like i had ruined my whole life. I made a dumb mistake trying to impress someone knowing I was never that type of person. Instead of getting someone close to me normal gifts on a birthday I took a risk and gave that person some marijuana knowing they smoked a lot. I really thought I could've gotten away with it but until I had to realize people tend to do dumb things and fold under pressure which cost me a bad reputation that I'm happy is cleared now.

 Today in class we reviewed the previous rhetoric devices we have learned and made sentences. Mr Rease introduced us to a new non-fiction book called "Wild". Wild is a memoir which means personal experience. We discussed the dos and don't of hiking on a trail and what not to do when approaching the different animals such as bears or snakes

 Hyperbole-  I stay at school so much it's basically my home. How high he is when he dunks you'd think he can jump over a building Hypophora-          1. So you may ask why we are the best class, because our test numbers showed us why.          2. In times of horror what did we do, we persevered through and fought Litotes           Its not rocket science to do whats asked The trip wasnt all that bad

 today in class we reviewed and covered on two different rhetorical appeals. In class we’re gonna be working on all our rhetorical appeals and learning to understand and when to use them in our writing

 Today in class we really just looked over ap test requirements and the different scoring and what to expect on the test. I think this semester would be easier since its a smaller class and we can go more in depth

 The first semester for me was good for me. My downside was me procrastinating on my work and using a work calendar would help me a lot. Mr Rease not giving hw would help alot😂
