In class today we went over a passage and we used our methods to cite it. We went over students having to wear uniforms and driving while texting. The assignment was good getting my memory refreshed with citing passages

In class today we went over how to cite textual evidence from a passage. We were given 4 different steps to find the best textual evidence and some of the phrases to start our sentences with

Today in class we analyzed a poem called birches. The poem was created by a successful poet named Robert Frost. It was basically about a person that wanted to start over and wanting to go back to their childhood. It was a good poem but I could understand it better if it was a shorter poem.

in class today we went over the langston hughes poem which talked about taking advice and overcoming obstacles. Class was cut short due to a schedule change

today in class we presented our poems about our dreams. A lot of my classmates have a real good vision in writing and was impressed by some of the wordplay my peers used. I would really like to hear a poem written by mr rease sometime

In class today we went over fences discussion questions and finished the play. My question in class was about if fences were meant to keep characters in or out. I chose it since near the beginning rose wanted to keep troy in and near the end she wanted to keep cory outside of the fences
